9Dee Thai-Nz Limited T/A Ya So Esaan Thai Eatery is located in central Auckland. We provide top-class Thai food for tourists and local business people. We now need two Cooks to help us provide top-quality service. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week, but you will normally be required to work around 40 hours. The hourly rate on offer is $29.66 to $30.00.
Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant
Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary
Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking and presentation
Assisting in improving dishes
Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen
Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks
Ensuring kitchen's operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months work experience in the kitchen or at least level 2 relevant qualification or Bachelor's Degree in any major
Be familiar with Thai Food
You may be required to work during the weekend
Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours
Good attention to detail to ensure cleanliness
