About the Role:

The applicant’s main responsibility will be to prepare and serve high quality meals for the restaurant patrons. Taste, hygiene and nutrition will be the highestpriorities. The suitable applicant will be expected to accommodate a variety of dietary and cultural needs.

We are looking for aCookfor day and evening shifts, including weekends. Shifts are can be flexible.

The applicant should have priorcook/chefexperience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Be able to prepare and cook food on the menu

•Assist Head Chef/Chefin planning special menu fortnightly

•Ensuring and monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

•Ensuring high quality food standards are met in accordance from the Directors

•Overseeing the induction and training of kitchen staff to ensure they can consistently deliver the expected standards

•Ensure Food safety program is up-to-date

•Discussing food preparation with staff before service begins

•Sound knowledge and ability to adhere to hygiene regulations

•Uphold high standards of cleaning procedures which is in line with OH&S standards, Hygiene and sanitation
