Reporting to the Senior Contracts Lead, you will be utilising your procurement management expertise, where you will be involved in Watercare projects, responsible for RFX management, contract formation, and price and risk validation for Watercare infrastructure projects.
A significant aspect of this role is negotiating cost savings with suppliers to ensure the best value for Watercare customers.
You will be a high achiever who enjoys a challenge and has a proven background working in infrastructure procurement.
Your skills and background will include: A tertiary qualification in Engineering/Construction/Procurement/Business field A solid background in contract/procurement management working in a large complex organisation.
A good understanding of commercial contract forms including CCCS, Framework Agreements, NZS3910, and NZS3916.
Experience procuring services under NZS3910/NZS3916/CCCS/NEC3/FIDIC.
Experience preparing management reports and approvals.
Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
