THE PURPOSE
To be the warm welcome and initial help for our patients, visitors and Medical specialists.
THE ROLE
You are the welcoming person to everyone that enters the building, providing directions, reassurance, and help where appropriate. There are small amounts of stock and administrative duties as well as being a corral point for contractors, deliveries, and professional visitors to the premises.
Concierge is attended from 6:30am until 8:30pm Monday- Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8am till 2:30pm. Shifts are organized a few weeks in advance, with occasional last-minute cover needed.
This is a heart and soul position, as you meet and interact with everyone daily; visitors, patients, staff, and surgeons. Availability is essential, and preference will be given to those who can express their wide availability.
ABOUT YOU
You enjoy meeting people and helping where needed. Professional, resourceful, friendly, and confident are how people describe you. Working full-time is not your preference, but you are open to casual work and can be available at relatively short notice.
This role requires some moving and lifting and being comfortable on your feet for longer periods. A background in hospitality or a similar role where you greeted and served a regular flow of people is advantageous.
