Te Wero - The Challenge
You will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety, sustainability, and efficiency of our water services. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems, safeguarding the health and well-being of our communities.

We are seeking a candidate who offers:
A relevant tertiary qualification, is currently pursuing one, or has equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical planning or regulatory role within an infrastructure setting.
Familiarity with or a willingness to learn Tikanga Maori.
Advanced skills in documentation, report writing, and workflow process development.
Preferably, knowledge of New Zealand local government legislation, practices, and standards.
A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our community.
A forward-thinking attitude focused on continuous improvement.
Strong ability to build and maintain robust stakeholder relationships.

The salary for this position is Grade 14 within Council's salary structure (Band: $69,616 to $81,901 pro rata per annum) dependent on qualifications and experience, plus Kiwi Saver.
