We provide maintenance services for green spaces like reserves, walkways, sand dunes, playgrounds, and much more. In addition to that we maintain Tauranga City Council managed facilities and buildings. Our team is focused on providing an efficient and quality service, our purpose is to make Tauranga better.Te Turanga | About the roleWe are looking for a superstar compliance coordinator, someone who thrives in a busy environment and has a genuine passion for wanting to keep our people safe. We are a team of over 100 with a large fleet of vehicles and machinery. This role will take charge of all of our training scheduling, will coordinate our fleet, manage PPE distribution and provide back up support to our workforce planners.Core Responsibilities IncludeFleet and equipment management via E-roads. This includes all servicing, RUCS, warrants and routine reporting.Assisting with the creation of SOP's and assisting with facilitation of H, S & C training.Significant amounts of document management including ID's, certifications and managing expiries.Booking all training with our training partners, this is a mammoth task!Contributing to maintaining the general environment of our office. This may include ordering supplies, catering, assisting with the set-up of events, logging requests through our internal system, watering plants, collecting mail, creating & managing purchase orders and invoices basically anything else the team needs. Assisting with month end processing including reporting.The ideal working hours are: 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, a 40-hour week. This role will be based at our Tauriko headquarters.This position reports to the Health, Safety and Compliance Lead.Nga Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed within the City Operations TeamHonesty and integrity (this is critical)A genuine passion for Health, Safety and Compliance!Experience in a similar role (compliance, training, H&S support, fleet management) of 3 years ideallyProven ability to multitask and prioritise competing demandsA strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving skillsAbility to also do routine mundane tasks like document management of ID/ certifications etcComputer savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Strong MS office skills are also required including advanced Excel skills.
