Life Plus is a leading healthcare service provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional care across New Zealand. We are seeking compassionate and professional Community Support Workers to join our team and provide meaningful support to youth with mental health and disability needs.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced and qualified Support Workers to assist youth in the Wellington area. Your role will involve providing high-quality care and creating a safe, supportive environment to empower individuals with mental health challenges and disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide daily support and care tailored to the individual needs of clients.
Assist clients in achieving personal goals and making positive life changes.
Foster connections with whanau (family) and promote social inclusion.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
About You :
Passionate about improving the lives of individuals with mental health and disability needs.
Calm, empathetic, and kind in your approach.
Hold a Level 4 certificate in Mental Health (or higher).
Experience working with clients in the mental health or disability sector is highly preferred.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willing to undergo background checks and complete relevant training.
Eligible to work in New Zealand.
Current MAPA/CPI training certificate.
Current First Aid certificate.
A full NZ driver's licence is required.
