Pact is currently looking for a part time (20 hours per week) Community Support Worker to work in our mental health service in the West Coast.
The Role Pact is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to work alongside those with alcohol and drug addictions.
As an early intervention AoD support worker, you will work alongside our clients to assist them in implementing plans to address their addiction issues.
While support work experience is an advantage, we provide all the training you need, so it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities: Experience working in the area of recovery from addictions (alcohol and other drugs) Assistance with an educational environment Excellent communication and networking skills Ensure client processes are accurately documented Add to the team's culture by showing positivity and patience Celebrate clients' goals Build and sustain working relationships with clients, staff, and external agencies Hours of work at present are: 40 hours per fortnight Desired Skills and Experience A level 4 or other relevant qualification in mental health is desirable but not essential.
There is an expectation that you will be willing to start working towards obtaining a level 4 mental health qualification after your first year of employment.
A full driver's licence and computer skills are essential.
If on a work visa, this must be valid for at least twelve months.
If shortlisted, you must be available for an interview in the West Coast.
