Community Mental Health Job In New Zealand

Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau are currently seeking a community mental health social worker to become a part of their team in Whangarei, New Zealand.
This role involves providing assessment and treatment services within the hospital, catering to individuals with various concerns, including those dealing with alcohol and drug issues.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to provide crisis response for mental health, dual diagnosis, and clinical rehabilitation.
The candidate should be able to work 9 – 10 hours per day within the hospital and must be able to work within a multidisciplinary team environment in the mental health department.
Qualifications for Community Mental Health: Must be a registered social worker holding a current practicing certificate.
Experience in acute nursing practice.
Must have a current driving license.
Experience in coexisting mental health and substance use problems.
Responsibilities for Community Mental Health: Responsible for evaluating the needs of individuals and families.
Ability to collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals and social services to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
