Are you ready to inspire and mobilise our community to protect the environment?
In this role, you will:Engage and educate: create exciting events, citizen science opportunities, and interactive learning experiences for all ages.Empower young minds: deliver positive, hands-on learning experiences to preschools and schools, sparking a lifelong connection to nature.Build connections: help our community reconnect with and care for our unique ecosystems.While experience in education, outreach, environmental programmes, or environmental science is a plus, it's not essential.
What is essential is being an inspiring, passionate people person who is confident speaking to diverse groups, including tamariki and rangatahi.The Community Activator role is full-time with flexibility in work schedule available.
Part-time and job-sharing options will be considered for the right candidates.
