The purpose of this role is to develop and execute communication and marketing strategies that align with strategic objectives within the organisation and across multiple project workstreams.
This is an organisation with a welcoming culture, driven to enhance and create positive relationships and programmes for this community. As the Communications and Marketing lead, you will report to the GM of Communications.
Engagement. Specific outcomes for this role will include: Effective Communication and Marketing Strategies to increase awareness of all programmes and initiatives
Community Engagement with the community developing messaging and programmes with all stakeholders
Brand Messaging & Visibility to ensure there is consistency across all channels and aligned to the mission and objectives
Digital presence is fully optimised to increase engagement and improve public perception of all programmes
Stakeholder relationships are maintained across all key community leaders, stakeholders, and media outlets
To be successful for this role you will bring: Proven experience in developing and implementing communication and marketing strategies in a community-focused or similar setting
Strong empathy with Maori and Pasifika communities with the ability to communicate and respect cultural values
Proficient in website management and digital marketing, including social media management, content creation, and tools that include CMS, analytical platforms, and marketing systems
Media experience managing enquiries, press releases, and PR
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects
Preferred: Experience in community regeneration or housing development
Proficiency or understanding of Te Reo or Pacific language
