We tell it as it is and listen to what we hear.If you're passionate about what you do, a great listener, an even better writer, and can turn technical information into stories our communities want to read and hear, then you're the sort of comms person we want to work with.As an account manager, you'll be a partner within the organisation, providing comms advice and support to your internal customers. You'll be great at building relationships and get to use your creative brain to develop engaging comms across a wide range of channels, catering to our diverse communities.Our council works in a fast-moving environment so you need to be comfortable juggling multiple jobs and responding quickly when necessary. Those pesky emergencies tend to come when you least expect them.You will be working with our Development and Regulatory and Customer and Community Groups, which includes our building and planning, animal management, Libraries, Wildbase, events or activities at our venues (including the CET Arena, Conference and Function Centre, Caccia Birch and isite).The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; however, due to the nature of the work, flexibility is a must.
