We have a great opportunity for a reliable individual looking to gain further experience in the hospitality industry!
We are seeking a Commis Chef to join our friendly kitchen team at The Lane Restaurant in Salisbury Street, adjacent to Sudima Christchurch City.
This role will pay $26-$30 depending on experience.
Responsibilities | Nga haepapa
Preparation and cooking of meals
Supporting with kitchen services and cleaning
Following the guidance of the Senior chefs
Follow and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
About You | Ko koe tenei

NZQF Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
Experience in a busy kitchen environment
Planning and organising skills and an ability to work individually and in a team
Ability to multi-task, show flexibility and meet deadlines, work under pressure
Flexible to work rostered shifts, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays
Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and thermomix)
Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks, excellent time management abilities
Familiarity with sanitation and safe food handling regulations
