Commercial Partnerships Manager

Details of the offer

This newly created stakeholder and customer centric business development and commercial partnership role is set to drive the future success and continued growth of this highly regarded consulting company. A commercial lens and affinity to geotech, engineering and infrastructure will take you a long way here.

Resource Development Consultants Limited (RDCL) is a world class team of approximately 45 geotechnical and geophysical specialists providing innovative and expert solutions. They are spread throughout New Zealand and offshore, focusing on delivering the best engineering designs every day to build resilience for future generations. This team are problem solvers, fuelled by natural curiosity, and truly value and embrace working together for the good of the ground. This is an exciting time to join the team as they embark on a phase of commercial refinement and targeted growth.

Their client and partner base spans a wide range of sectors nationally and globally including infrastructure, local and central government, natural resources and land development. This is a business-critical customer interface role. You will be nurturing genuine and mutually beneficial commercial and stakeholder relationships to ensure RDCL continues to expand their reach and remain the preferred consultancy partner each and every time. Business development is definitely a partnership approach here, but ultimately this role is about growing their pipeline.

Reporting through to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and further enhancing the sales and business development strategy and commercial programme; building a sustainable partnership pipeline, identifying new opportunities, and tailoring an attractive proposition based on customer and stakeholder needs and challenges. The goal is to be ahead of the game, acquiring new and value-add commercial partnerships, as well as showing care and respect to the well-established existing relationships that RDCL regard so highly.

An outward-thinking, innovative and stakeholder-focused approach is vital to success in this role. You'll be a switched-on, intelligent communicator who can comfortably juggle multiple priorities and hold your own when engaging with a range of client groups. Your expertise in stakeholder and commercial engagement, and exposure to growth-based sales and market strategies could come from a wide range of sectors. It is crucial that you can relate to technical and service-based offerings aligned to RDCL's business.

This is a great chance to join a team of passionate, diverse and talented people with a real commitment to be the best in everything they do.
