This Commercial Associate role is all about providing relationship management support for our commercial banking customers as we continue to grow with Kiwibank becoming customer's 1st choice. As a Commercial Associate, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager to manage a portfolio of customers. You will assess and process credit applications for commercial business customers ranging mainly from $2m to $35m. The role is both sales support and process support with a portfolio of customers and prospects who are proactively relationship managed. This is a role where you can really get in and make a difference, and it's a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your commercial banking experience and career. At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following: Ability to assess risk and where possible find win-win solutions for the Bank and the customer Strong credit analysis skills to assess financials and prepare credit submissions Some understanding of Business/Commercial Banking and its place in the community Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and maintain positive relationships - with customers and internally Some understanding of credit policies, processes and procedures is advantageous but not essential Above all, attitude and mindset are everything.
