About the role This role is part of our Wholesale team, Gilmours, who are the fastest growing banner of the Foodstuffs group!
As an overview you will be responsible for delivering world class data, information and business insights, and working with our National Accounts team to deliver on key projects.
A few key responsibilities of the role include:
Delivering customer reports, pricing analytics, and insights into building solutions for our National customers' requirements, which are all varied and differing depending on the trade type or channel of business. This role in particular will be working alongside a large customer delivering value and offering insights, automating and supporting the business. Supporting the team with data management and collaboration of reports, pricing, and processes across our National Account customers. Supporting national tenders and ensuring decisions are made with the best pricing and opportunity. Participating in delivering initiatives across the National Account team plan with an "enterprise" and "agile" mindset, that delivers simplicity and meaning to the business, customers, and our banners. About you With a passion for analytics and applying data to a commercial setting, at all times thinking customer along with the ambition to learn and explore you will:
Be highly capable in Excel, with experience in SAP or the ability to pick it up! Have excellent planning and communication skills, with a great ability to collaborate with others and clearly articulate ideas. An understanding of Foodservice and our customers' needs is ideal, but is not essential; however, you will have a desire to learn and lean in. Have an open and collaborative working style yet be able to stand on your own two feet and stand by your decisions. Have an ability to apply commercial realities to the data.
