About the role
The Co-response Support Worker role presents an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to have a genuine impact on whanau affected by or at risk of Family Harm in Counties Manukau. You will play a vital role in delivering front-line services as part of the new Co-response pilot, taking ownership and managing support services addressing the unique challenges faced by these whanau, while ensuring their holistic well-being. Due to the needs of this contract, a SRWB recognised Social Work qualification would be beneficial but not required.
In this role, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Any knowledge of or exposure to family harm cases will be advantageous. Excellent computer skills to be able to effectively use multiple database systems for case management is also necessary.
We are currently recruiting for a fixed term (10 months) full-time position, with working hours from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, spanning Friday to Monday. Two positions will be based at both the Manurewa and Ormiston Police Station.

Are you able to work autonomously and as part of a team, yet also work independently and self-manage?
You will be required to undergo pre-employment vetting by the NZ Police.
