About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal skills to provide clinical typing support for Mental Health and Addictions Service based in Hamilton.
About the ServiceMental Health and Addictions Service will be based at The Waikato University Campus from December 2024.
The team covers a wide area providing services for Adult Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Services and Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
About you Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Adaptable with a willingness to embrace multitasking.
Excellent communication skills are required and confidentiality is essential.Posses competent computer skills with evidence of your typing ability.
It would be advantageous that you have had previous experience working within a health/mental health setting.
