We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team which provides recovery support and treatment to people in West Auckland.
This autonomous position works closely with the other clinical psychologists across both the West Adult Mental Health services and the Waiatarau Inpatient Unit, and provides essential psychology consultation to the team, as well as assessment, therapy, and groups.
We are looking to recruit Clinical Psychologists with:
Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalentProven psychological, psychometric and neuro-psychological assessment skillsExperience working within a DBT framework (preferable) and/or in other particular evidence-based interventions and therapy modalitiesSound skills in mental health assessment, treatment and safety planningThe ability to work autonomously.The Clinical Psychologist role is supported by a professional senior and a professional advisor within Mental Health Services.
