The purpose of this team is to improve the level and effectiveness of mental health services provided to Maori in the moderate to severe range. The delivery of mental health and addiction services for Maori is a key area for positive change in Aotearoa New Zealand. Oranga Hinengaro, in essence, is mental wellbeing from Maori perspectives. We have a full time, permanent position within our Kaupapa Maori Mental Health Team and are seeking applications from suitably qualified clinical psychologists with clinical expertise and a background in mental health. A team approach is essential, working with programs in Mental Health FACT. This includes developing Maori insights to work with whaiora and whanau Maori.
