We have two vacancies available for Clinical Pharmacists either working at The Doctors Napier or The Doctors Hastings.
With its own Team Leader to directly report to this close knit team of Clinical Pharmacists offers a supportive environment in a role that does require you to be extremely autonomous. The nature of this role is based out of various General Practices throughout Hawke's Bay.
Your main responsibility is to provide direct clinical pharmacist facilitation services, focusing on the appropriate prescribing and utilisation of medicines to Primary Care.
To apply for the role you must have the following:
Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand holding a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with no restrictions.
Hold a relevant clinical post-graduate qualification, is working towards this, or has work experience sufficient to demonstrate general pharmaceutical knowledge in core areas and/or specialist pharmaceutical knowledge in management of long term conditions.
Current Driver's Licence.
Medicine review services, e.g. Medicines Therapy Assessment, Comprehensive Medicines Management or similar.
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Research, interpretation and provision of medicine information.
