Mo te turanga / About the role The key responsibilities pertain to the nursing leadership in iCAMHS. As a senior, experienced mental health nurse, you will be committed to ensuring the ongoing quality of service delivery within the team, providing clinical guidance and supporting the Clinical Nurse Manager in the management of all resources. Essential requirements include: the ability to provide clinical formulation and talking therapy with children, young people, and their whanau. An ability to work systemically. The successful appointee must have a good working knowledge of the Mental Health and Addictions sector, and the broader services and communities that interface with the team. It is preferred that the successful candidate has strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills. The successful candidate should also be able to work efficiently both independently and with other clinicians in our skilled multi-disciplinary team. It is essential to have the ability to connect and build trusting relationships with a wide range of people from the community. Experience and knowledge in working systemically with families is essential. Post-graduate qualifications are favourable, or a demonstrated commitment to completing post-graduate studies to Masters level.
