Clinical Nurse Specialist, Diabetes ServiceClinical Nurse Specialist – Whitiora Diabetes ServiceMonday-FridayPart Time, Fixed Term Role Available! (0.9 FTE)About the role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior nurse with extensive clinical expertise in diabetes, to join the Whitiora Diabetes Service on a fixed term contract.The role provides clinical expertise and leadership to ensure safe and effective services to patients, family and the wider community. The role has a key focus on supporting people with diabetes and their whaanau in both clinic and inpatient settings. The role also includes the teaching of health professionals and facilitation of both formal and informal learning opportunities.Our preference is for an experienced nurse working at Clinical Nurse Specialist level with prescribing experience.
