Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora – Te Tai Tokerau is looking for an experienced senior nurse to join the Integrated Operations team as a Clinical Nurse Manager.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to undertake a leadership role with full support and mentorship.
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical and nursing leadership and management to facilitate the effective day-to-day safe operation of services and to support nursing standards and nursing practice.
Daily operational management includes a clinical safety overview of patient areas, capacity planning, seasonal variation response, variance response management and where applicable, acute patient flow.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Whangarei Hospital.
Key requirements: Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) and holder of a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) Postgraduate certificate/diploma in specialty nursing practice or health leadership/management Minimum of five years' experience post-registration in relevant nursing specialty Current Designated Senior Nurse Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP) Portfolio Working towards completion of Master's Degree Demonstrated effectiveness in delegation and supervision of nurses and ability to work in the interdisciplinary team Demonstrated ability to understand and implement contemporary practice and work in a complex clinical environment If you have any questions regarding this vacancy, please contact .
