About the role

Assist Lecturers and support students in the post-graduate programme content

Assist with assessment of Post-Graduate certificate students

Inspire, motivate and encourage nurses to deliver best practice in relation to Critical Care

Provide expert nursing knowledge within the Critical Care setting

About you

Hold a current PDRP and will have completed or be on your way to completing your Masters of Nursing

Minimum of three years within Critical Care nursing

Credibility within the health care team as a professional resource within Critical Care

Knowledge of current issues within health and nursing in New Zealand

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate evidence based nursing advice

Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth

Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

This is a rewarding role which will see you act as educator, leader, role model and networker using your experience and knowledge to inspire and promote best practice within the world of Critical Care.

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Designated Pay Scale, between $114,025 and $121,444 p.a dependant on relevant experience.
