Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality, confidential secretarial and administrative support services. We are a strong supportive whakawhanaungatanga (community), proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university, spanning every corner of the motu.

The role/Te mahi

As Clinic Administrator within the Faculty of Dentistry, you will provide essential administration support to our undergraduate and postgraduate dental programmes and dental hospital services.

In this clinical role you will provide reception support in the Dental Hospital including:

Monitoring phone calls and emails.

Scheduling appointments.

Meeting and greeting patients.

Managing appointments and records.

Payment/fees receipting.

Patient account auditing.

You will manage data and files, and upkeep patient records, using the patient management software (Titanium).

Along with excellent administration and coordination skills, you will have a strong customer service focus.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and time management skills, a flexible approach and ability to provide support where it is needed most.

Importantly you will be self-directed, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.

An inquisitive mindset and problem-solving skills.

A desire to learn and a commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.

An ongoing commitment to positive outcomes for our students, staff, and patients.

We have two, fixed term (1 year), full time (37.5 hours) opportunities available, located in Otepoti, Dunedin.

You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for these positions.

The appointment range for this role is $59,285 to $63,651, pro rata. Top of range $68,744.
