This role directly supports our Key Account Manager and focuses on driving improvements to the standards of service delivered. The position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the Tauranga Hospital Cleaning teams.Profile:Proven cleaning experience with exceptional standards.Supervisory and management experience is preferred.Excellent communication skills – oral and written.Highly organized, solutions-focused with a good eye for detail.Ability to interact with a variety of people including staff, clients, and the general public.Must be physically fit.High level of self-motivation and ability to motivate a team to consistently deliver the highest standard of service.Deliver and actively engage in staff training.Ensure all equipment maintenance is current; liaise with the Key Account Manager regarding any equipment breakdowns and issues.Identify and record any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety, then initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through the Key Account Manager.Investigate complaints, compliments, incidents, and report findings to the Key Account Manager within allocated time frames.Respect patient property, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.Undertake any other duties as directed by the Key Account Manager commensurate with abilities and training.Monitor ongoing progress of all cleaning staff within designated areas and act promptly and appropriately to address performance, disciplinary, or conflict issues with the Key Account Manager.Arrange and coordinate relief staff to ensure all sites are cleaned to specification.Daily and weekly team reporting of H&S, staffing, training, and customer requests/concerns.Lead by example to reinforce and promote ISS commitment to safe work practices and a healthy working environment.Participate in monthly Health and Safety meetings held with H&S representatives.NZ Full License is preferred.Benefits:Working for a leading organization with a fantastic reputation.Full job training given, with regular feedback.Great team culture in a fantastic work environment.Uniform provided.Requirements:Reliable and responsible.A can-do attitude.Self-motivated.A clean criminal record is a must.Proof of COVID vaccination status.New Zealand work rights.NZ Full License is preferred.If this sounds like you, please apply by clicking 'apply'.You can review your application status and keep up to date with our current vacancies by visiting our ISS Careers Website.ISS is passionate about creating a culture that values inclusion and diversity, where all our people are treated fairly and respectfully.
