G J Sole Transport Limited is a large family-owned business based in Bell Block, New Plymouth.
We specialise in Heavy Haulage, General Transport and Log Cartage – operating a fully serviced, modern fleet throughout the Taranaki and wider areas.
If you are a skilled, safety-conscious driver with a passion for hauling heavy loads and are ready to take your truck driving to the next level, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for experienced Class 5 Truck Drivers in the following capacities:
Transporter/Heavy Haulage Operator
Immediate Starts are available!
Requirements:
a current, full New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence
a minimum of six months on-road driving experience
driving experience on rural roads
pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
can obtain additional licence endorsements (if required)
must live within 30 minutes drive from our depot
Responsibilities:
conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure your truck is loaded and secured properly
follow regulations and maintain a safe driving record
complete all paperwork accurately
communicate clearly and effectively with our team and our customers
