We are looking for a Class 5 Driver for a floating role in our growing business. If you have a great work ethic and can show up and work hard every day, we would like to hear from you! This role suits a self-motivated candidate who will be primarily responsible for operating our modern fleet. You will be flexible in your approach and happy to assist with other vehicle types in our fleet.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
A clean and safe driving record, holding class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 endorsements, or the overseas equivalent, with the ability to convert to a New Zealand license
Ideally, Dangerous Goods and F & OSH Forklift certification, or overseas equivalents. We can help to organize a complete course to obtain this in New Zealand
Strong customer service and excellent communication skills
At least 6 months of HT Linehaul driving experience
Ability to wash and clean the truck when required
Sound understanding of Health & Safety and compliance with work time and logbook requirements
Comfortable with staying away from home when required during weekdays or weekends
Full cooperation with all company and customer safety procedures
Ability to plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Experience in reversing all types of combinations
Fit & healthy, with some physical activity involved in the role including strapping and chaining required to ensure secure loads
Clean criminal record is essential
Zero tolerance for drugs & alcohol
