Class 5 Line Haul Truck Drivers

We are a New Zealand based company looking for class 5 Line Haul Truck Drivers to work in Christchurch. Depending on work availability, you will be required to deliver loads to various locations in the North and South Island, which may require you to stay outside your designated city overnight for a legal 10-hour break before returning.

In addition to driving, you will be responsible for daily vehicle checks, ensuring the truck is loaded appropriately, and materials are recorded correctly. You will also ensure that Road User Charges, Registration, and COF are up to date, and maintain the logbook correctly and in a timely manner.

To be successful in the role, you will:

Have a clean Truck License and be committed to health and safety.

Love maintaining your vehicle and be punctual and reliable.

Be flexible and able to work to deadlines.

Be available to work overtime during weekdays and weekends, where required.

Wage Rate: We can offer $28 - $32 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours: A minimum of 30 hours per week.

Job Type: Full Time.

Location: Christchurch, with deliveries across the North and South Island.

Schedule: 12 - 13 hour shifts, including night shifts.

License/Certification: New Zealand class 5 Truck license preferred; however, if you do not have a NZ license but have an overseas truck license, we will help the right candidate obtain a New Zealand license.
