Description Company Overview: Join our client's team in the transportation and civil construction industry! They are a reputable logistics and civil projects company committed to excellence! They would like skilled Class 4-5 truck drivers with W,T,R for civil projects.
Position Overview: As a Class 4-5 Truck Driver with W,T,R and civil experience, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations, transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 4-5 trucks to transport construction materials, equipment, and personnel to designated locations.
Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring the safety and integrity of the materials and equipment.
Utilize your endorsements and civil construction experience to navigate construction sites and off-road locations.
Assist with on-site tasks as needed, including material handling, equipment operation, and site maintenance.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to meet safety standards and regulations.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation logistics and support project objectives.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road and at construction sites.
Requirements:
Valid Class 4-5 driver's license. Prefer W,T,R endorsements. Construct or Site Safe certified.
Proven experience as a truck driver in the civil construction industry, able to use E-road.
Understand construction site protocols, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety at all times.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
