This fast-paced and physical role will see you delivering building materials to a variety of residential and commercial construction sites from our New Plymouth branch where you will be based.Your focus will be on providing an exceptional service to our valued customers in a timely, professional and safe manner.Your adaptability and versatility will be key as you will also be required to provide support when needed in the timber yard to pick orders and serve customers including operating a forklift to load and unload customer orders.About youYou will require a minimum Class 2 licence to operate a tipper truck with HIAB training available to become a back-up Class 4 HIAB Driver. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence and Class 2/4Solid driving experience - Class 4 with currentHIAB Certification is desirable but not essentialA team player with the right attitude.A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry.Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handlingWhat we offer:Our fleet of trucks are well maintained and your health and safety is our priority, as is your work-life balance.
