Temp to perm opportunities Full time set hours Immediate starts available We are currently looking for experienced class 2, 4 and 5 drivers to join our clients in ongoing roles in the Wellington area. These positions may involve both driving and manual labour so must be physically fit. For the right person these positions will lead to upskilling as well as opportunities for permanent contracts for the right people.
Hours will be Monday - Friday 6/7AM starts with at least 45 - 50 hours per week but may vary depending on role. Your role may include but not be limited to: Operate trucks or other commercial vehicles safely and responsibly Transport goods to and from various locations across New Zealand Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Ensure all cargo is securely loaded and unloaded Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks Follow all local, regional, and national driving regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team member Requirements: Valid New Zealand Class 2, 4, or 5 Driver's Licence Clean driving record with no major infringements Previous truck driving experience preferred Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team All applicants will be required to complete a pre employment drug and alcohol screening, ministry of justice check and reference checks.
