Ko te aheitanga: The opportunity Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Civil Transport Project/ Programme Manager to play a critical role, leading a program of recovery work aimed at repairing and reinstating the local transport network across the Hawkes Bay region impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle. With an estimated program of work estimated at $800 M, you will embrace the challenge of shaping the recovery efforts expected to continue over the next 7-10 years. With a varied urban and rural geography the program includes everything from main roads with equivalent traffic to State Highways through to bridge replacements, large culverts and arterial networks linking local communities. On offer is a competitive salary of $100K - $120K + benefits. E pa ana ki a koe: About you With a successful track record working on significant infrastructure/bridge projects, you will possess developed technical skills and be commercially astute. You will be well respected in the local engineering market with existing relationships across central and local government such as Auckland Transport, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Authority and Kiwi Rail. Tertiary qualified Civil Engineer or Project Manager 5 years + civil engineering experience on transportation/roading or related civil structures projects Proficient with programming civil transportation and related infrastructure projects Developed expertise across project planning, scheduling, stakeholder co-ordination, sustainable practices, financial management, project monitoring and reporting Confident leading projects and work packages of varied complexity to specified time, cost and quality parameters Working knowledge of NZS3910 or similar contracts Personable, professional and able to build meaningful relationships with varied stakeholders Flexible, hybrid working arrangements Projects with purpose, connect communities, change lives Structured professional development and a focus on well-being Support of long-term experienced Senior colleagues Tono inaianei: Apply now!
