Seeking a standout civil engineer that is familiar with local compliance, code and council with relevant civil or engineering qualification. Would be a bonus if you are ticketed, have experience in three waters, can sign off work, and build successful team capabilities. Start now or in the New Year!
Basis of the role
Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines. The successful candidate will likely have advanced abilities in construction, estimation, and people management. Strengths in previous earthwork, heavy drainage, foundation, concrete, and subdivisions. Can confidently and competently lead an experienced drainage team, from ground up, getting the project out of the ground, both to code and done safely.
Requirements
Compile a detailed price build-up for tendering purposes allowing for all plant, materials, and labour methodology.
Draft and submit weighted attributes to accompany the tender.
Draft and submit H&S plan, Quality plan, Environmental management plan.
Upon success, manage the contract including claims and variations.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively, optimizing performance and minimizing risks.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
