Civil Estimator

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Estimator to join a well-established civil main contractor in South Auckland.Your new company:Our client is a prominent earthworks company specialising in land development, construction, and excavation projects. With a rich history spanning nearly seven decades in the construction industry, they have continually evolved and enhanced their services. Committed to the highest standards of precision and quality, they are currently in search of a talented Senior Draftsman to join their team.Key Responsibilities:Report to Senior Estimator and handle subcontractor payments and administration.Assist with tendering, estimating, and project de-briefs.Collaborate on project bids, preparing clear, client-focused tender documentation.Oversee technical aspects of bids, including scheduling, procurement, and proposal writing.Ensure timely and complete submissions, adding value for clients.Prepare Bills of Quantities, tender documents, and specifications.Conduct feasibility studies, cost control, and risk management.Analyse tender costs, advise on procurement and manage commercial risks.Prepare progress reports, arrange payments, and support project initiation.About you:4 - 6 years experience as an estimator in civils.Experience working for an NZ civil earthmoving contractor.The ability to work well under pressure.Positive attitude and a team player.Benefits:Competitive salary + vehicle.On-going education and training.Internal progression.Family-like work culture.Plenty of projects in the pipeline.What you need to do now:If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to ****** or call (022) 323 5452.
