Join the newly established Tauranga office of a national New Zealand Consultancy. The Role:
As a member of our civil team, you'll utilise your drafting and design skills to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. You'll work closely with engineers and managers to produce accurate drawings, models, and plans that adhere to regulatory standards and project requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects both within the North Island while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD & Civil3D software. Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and refine design concepts for various civil projects. Ensure drawings and designs comply with relevant regulations and standards. Assist in the preparation of resource consent applications and other project documentation. Participate in site inspections to provide construction monitoring & support. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Strong AutoCAD/Civil3D skills, able to guide/mentor colleagues and work with minimal assistance. Experience in the drafting & design of land development projects in New Zealand. Competent understanding of engineering principles, regulations, and standards including NZS3910.
