A Chief Executive is sought for Antarctica New Zealand, with experience in fostering cohesive organisational cultures, effective strategic and people leadership, and overseeing complex health and safety requirements.The role includes leading a high-performance organisation with a strong commitment to the natural environment. Key priorities include achieving the completion of the new Scott Base Redevelopment plan and ensuring adaptability to changing needs of science and environmental climate change over time.A visible and engaged people leader with expertise in strategy development and execution, political savvy and commercial acumen, excellent communication and influencing skills, and affinity with the science and research sector is required.The role is based in Christchurch with frequent travel, and requires a CE role or significant second-tier roles with Board reporting experience.
