So, what will I be doing?
We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Chefs who ideally have a passion for pastry to join our small, busy team. Using quality ingredients that showcase the results of our regenerative farming, the kitchen team are responsible for delivering excellent wholesome dishes and delicious, tasty treats for our employees, suppliers, guests of Yeo Valley and of course the public. No day here in the Valley is ever the same, and these are just some of the jobs you will be doing:
Collaborating with the kitchen team and pub manager as a whole to create new seasonal recipes and menu plan.Producing and serving consistently high quality food.Helping to ensure that all ordering of goods is processed through the correct approved suppliers to guarantee consistent use of ingredients and traceability.Along with the rest of the team, carry out and implement Health & Safety standards to maintain 5 star status in Venues from the EHO.Hours: This is a full-time 40 hour per week role working within the Yeo Valley Estate, 5 out of 7 days. Hours ranging from 10:00am – 10:00pm. You will be expected to work bank holidays and weekends. Accommodation could be made available for the right candidate – so please get in touch, as this is a really exciting opportunity.
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
Do you enjoy working with locally sourced, fresh, organic produce and have a love for food? A positive and flexible approach is a must along with a good sense of humour and pride in your work.Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.A passion for pastry would be favoured.Have excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work regarding cleanliness, tidiness and health and safety.Level 2 or higher Food Safety Certificate.Allergen Training.Full UK driving licence.Why should I join the family?
