Hi to all the travellers currently on the West Coast of the South Island or heading this way or any fellow kiwi.We have a permanent position for a chef to cook full-time in our country hotel serving a kiwi style a la carte menu to locals and visitors alike. You can check out our menu on our website with buffets, set menus and creating specials out of fresh local produce would be an advantage to all applicants.We are open 7 nights a week for dinner and have regular live music including a jam session every Sunday evening. The work is mainly all afternoon and evening work leaving plenty of time free to explore the beautiful West Coast. You will need to speak and understand english well as the kitchen is a very busy kitchen at times and good communication is essential to the smooth running of the business.We also run our own on-site brewery so if you have some experience with brewing or are interested in learning, this may be an advantage.This is a full-time position however, we are happy to discuss a short-term option if this is all you are looking for. Please email us with your CV and contact details and we will be in touch asap.Please note that a working visa is required. We look forward to hearing from any of you who have the necessary skills to cook and create dishes and menus in a kitchen either by yourself or with a small team to support you for the next wee while!Colin & Leanne Cutler - Woodstock Hotel Hokitika
