About the role
This stunning resort is based in the Bay of Islands, with outstanding views and grounds. You will have the opportunity to work with an incredible Director of Culinary and gain experience at a luxury level. There are permanent or seasonal fixed term positions available. You will be working on a 7 day roster (36 hours a week minimum guaranteed) on either morning or night shift.

Ideal Skills and Experience
We are looking for Chefs with excellent organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to cater to a wide range of dietary preferences. A focus on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction is key in this role. You will be someone who is looking to learn and grow in their next role and have a great, can-do attitude. You will ideally have:
2-5 years experience as a chef in hotels or restaurants
Strong knife skills and comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen sections
The ability to be adaptable to guests needs
A positive attitude and good work ethics
Some responsibilities include
Prepare and cook dishes in an assigned kitchen section
Manage ingredients and maintain quality standards in your area
Plate dishes with attention to presentation
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure high standards
