Your natural leadership skills will be utilized as you assist checkout operators and customers accurately through their transactions.
The integrity of the checkout is based on accuracy and correctly managing the sale process at the front of house.
Your day to day:

Assisting checkout operators and customers through transactions
Authorising alcohol/tobacco purchases
Customer service – scanning and packing groceries
Stocking shelves/facing up; helping the Grocery team when Checkout is quiet
Cleaning of checkout areas

What you'll bring:

Ability to work under pressure due to a high volume of customers.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with a wide range of people.
Passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work well in a team and complete tasks unassisted in the required timeframe.
Show initiative and be honest and reliable.
A positive approach to work with a 'can-do' attitude.
Must be physically fit as the role involves being on your feet all day.

Hours:

We are looking to fill a couple of positions.
All roles are permanent full-time roles of approximately 40 contracted hours per week.
Hours and days to be confirmed.
Part-time roles may be available depending on available rosters.
