Checkout Supervisor

New World Onerahi services the Onerahi community, all the way out to the Whangarei Heads.We are a small but super busy operation, and we are on the hunt for a new Checkout Supervisor to join our team in January 2025.This role is a permanent, full-time position roughly 38.5 hours over 5 days.Working Hours:Sunday: 10am-7pmMonday: 11am-8pmTuesday: 7.30am-4.30pmThursday: 9.30am-6.30pmPay is $27.50 per hour.The Checkout Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day checkout operations, resolving customer queries at the checkout, assisting with Checkout Manager tasks where required, and facilitating the sale of restricted items.The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, have great initiative and leadership skills, be a team player, and of course have top-notch attitude towards customer service.Previous experience in retail or supermarkets is an advantage, but not essential - this is a rare vacancy for our team, so we just want to find the right person!If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
