Charge Nurse Manager, Kidz First Emergency Department at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, AucklandAre you an experienced Senior Nurse or Charge Nurse Manager looking for a new challenge and development opportunity in 2025?Would you like experience working as a nurse leader and manager in one of the busiest Emergency Departments in New Zealand?Here's a chance for you to have that experience and bring learnings back to your division.We are looking for strong leaders to join us as a Charge Nurse Manager on a 6-month secondment whilst we recruit permanently to the Charge Nurse Manager – Kidz First ED role.Responsibilities:Provide exceptional professional and clinical nursing leadershipPromote quality improvement initiatives, best practice, quality patient and whaanau centred care and outcomes, with a strong equity focus and honours the Te Tiriti o Waitangi principlesContinue to grow and develop the ED Nursing teams, supporting and enabling nurses to work to the top of their scopeSupport and enable the ED to meet key performance indicatorsIn this fast-paced environment, you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and in addition display innovation, time management and team player expertise.We are seeking a star performer who is solution focused and has an in-depth understanding of the service and organisational strategic direction.The role will report to the ED Nurse Unit Manager and work with the other Charge Nurse Manager roles in ED and the ED Nurse Educator team.
