We are seeking the right person to apply for a new role within the Patient Management Services senior nursing leadership team as a Charge Nurse to lead the Clinical Nurse Manager team.
The Clinical Nurse Manager team provide 24/7 nursing leadership to ADHB across three sites of Auckland City Hospital, Starship Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Charge Nurse of the CNM team is a new role which has been developed to support and strengthen the leadership of our senior nurse teams.
We are looking for individuals who have excellent leadership skills and a proven ability to manage people. You must be confident in leading, directing and collaborating with a range of personalities and be able to navigate challenging situations.
This role will interact with teams across the organisation so great people skills and excellent communication are a must.
You will demonstrate and promote best practice, facilitate collaboration between teams and provide coaching and education.
Successful candidates will be NZ Registered Nurses with current annual practicing certificate working at the top of their scope in their current roles. You must have a minimum of 5 years clinical practice in an acute care setting, some of which should be at an advanced level. Previous experience working with the ADHB CNM team will be advantageous.
The position being offered is a permanent role at 1.0 FTE based at Auckland City Hospital.
