Position Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Olathe Campus
Position Summary / Career Interest: Responsibilities: Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. Note: These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Skills and duties may vary dependent upon your department or unit. Other duties may be assigned as required. Assesses patients before anesthesia including analyzing medical history and planning anesthesia delivery. Administers various types of anesthesia including inhalational, intravenous, regional anesthetics based on anesthetic plan. Performs any necessary invasive procedures including insertion of catheters. Observes and records all patient functions being continuously monitored and evaluates need for ancillary drugs to maintain normal functioning. Consults with staff anesthesiologist as necessary regarding patient condition. Documents for patient record all relevant assessment, care, and monitoring data. Ensures availability of required supplies and equipment before anesthetic procedure. Educates patients, families and staff on anesthesia aspects related to conditions and diseases. Reassures patient before procedure. Accompanies to recovery area to ensure condition satisfactory. Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply. Offering a new graduate stipend of up to $25,000 to SRNAs with early commitment, and a $20,000 signing bonus to experienced CRNAs.
Successful completion of nursing anesthesia program, certification, and eligibility for licensure in the State of Kansas are required.

Broad caseload in multiple surgical specialties - ortho, ENT, OB, general cases, and hearts. CRNAs perform a full range of procedures. Flexible scheduling. 8, 10, 12-hour shifts. Call is rotated evenly with an average of 1 home call/week (will either be first or second home call). We provide: Employer-funded retirement plan.
