This administration role is key to the success of our centre to enable us to provide the best quality care and education to our children and ensure we meet our requirements under the Ministry of Education regulations.
As a Centre Administrator,?you'll play an important part within our team, and you will enjoy a varied role as no two days will ever be the same.
You will provide outstanding customer service for our whanau and have a variety of tasks.
You will be a key advisor for all enrolment enquiries, information about the applications, fees and subsidies to help our families navigate ECE sector with confidence.
You will?have responsibility for accurate parent accounts, direct debits, account management and payments along with?daily, weekly, and termly deadlines that need to be met, so attention to detail and strong organisational skills are important.
You will maintain and implement accounting procedures and processes that we all can be proud of!
Being IT savvy and having knowledge of Word and Excel will make this role easier.
We have a?National Admin Support team, who operate a helpdesk to ensure Centre Administrators receive support on an ongoing basis.
BestStart has very good procedures, training, and support around Ministry of Education requirements, and this will form part of your induction training.
Our centre administrators support centre operations on all levels, you will get to help with childcare, cooking, shopping and more!
They look after our team and help them maintain various records with outstanding accuracy and pride.
This is a permanent role working 30 - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Hours are negotiable to suit the right candidate's needs.
