We are looking for a mental health professional to join our casual team where a strong cultural emphasis underpins all we that we do. Hauora Tairawhiti is building an environment where whanau engagement and quality care is at the forefront of all the decisions that we make.
We are looking for registered skilled and competent Mental Health Professionals who are interested in working across the age range but primarily in adult acute mental health services as a casual. As an employer we offer a range of clinical experiences with the opportunity to practice in Te Kuwatawata and Hauora Tairawhiti as part of the intake team in primary, acute and secondary services. With a strong cultural focus, alongside sound clinical practice, we offer staff the ability to work in a service that integrates the cultural and clinical in order to improve outcomes for whanau in Tairawhiti.
The successful applicant must have a positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in Mental Health, where they can contribute to service development and improvements. Ability to be endorsed as a DAO desirable and CAMHS experience would be advantageous. A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience is essential.
You will have excellent interpersonal organisational and time management skills, effective and comprehensive assessment skills and the ability to work well autonomously. As an effective communicator, you must have a positive, engaging and solution focused attitude to your work.
