Casual Hospitality Assistant

Located in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand, The Landing is a place of outstanding natural beauty and historic significance. Designed to realise the potential of the land and preserve it for future generations, the property is home to several residential sites, including the Cooper Residence, the Gabriel Residence, the Vineyard Villa and the Boathouse, operating together as a bespoke accommodation offering. A gold medal-winning vineyard was established in 2007 and a boutique winery was added in 2020. An on-site commercial nursery helps support a multi-decade native reforestation project.
The role of Hospitality Assistant at The Landing Residences is an important role in the satisfaction of our discerning guests. With no two days being the same you will find yourself in both Housekeeping and Guest Services roles. This could look like both food and beverage service one day or housekeeping the next.
A successful candidate will be a hospitality superstar. A background in either Housekeeping or Guest Services is essential as is the experience of working in remote/ rural locations and in highly seasonal properties.
A high attention to detail, effective communication, care for the environment that we operate in and a love for people is essential for the candidate to be successful.
