Carpet And Flood Restoration Technician

Join Our Team as a Flood Restoration and Carpet Cleaning Technician! We're seeking both full-time and part-time technicians to become part of our fantastic team at JAE Waihi, a branch of a nationwide New Zealand company specializing in flood restoration and carpet cleaning services.
If you're looking to make a difference in recovery efforts after flood emergencies, this role is for you! Alongside flood restoration work, you'll also provide carpet and upholstery cleaning for residential customers in Waihi, Whangamata, Katikati, and surrounding areas, ensuring a diverse workday.
What We're Looking For: People Skills: You're friendly, honest, and hardworking, with a keen eye for detail.Physical Fitness: You can handle the demands of a hands-on job, including some heavy lifting.Flexibility: Willingness to participate in on-call after-hours work, which includes shared emergency callouts.Qualifications: If you have IICRC and ITI certifications, we'd be happy to assist with relocation costs to one of our service areas.Experience in flood restoration and carpet cleaning is a plus, but not required—we provide technical training for the right candidate.A full NZ driver's license is mandatory, as you will be provided with a company van after your training period.Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus overtime and call-out fees.We offer ongoing in-house training and continuous IICRC and ITI development opportunities. Candidates must hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and possess a clean driver's license.
